AFT is located in Englewood, Florida in the heart of Southwest Florida. We offer a variety of firearms training courses by NRA Certified & Insured Instructors who are also NRA Certified Range Safety Officers. We stress safe gun handling, and can help anyone learn safe gun handling practices and improved firearm handling skills. AFT is an organization dedicated to the safety and proficiency of firearm use and the belief that the right to protect one’s self is a fundamental right.
First and foremost, firearms ownership comes with the responsibility to society, yourself, and most of all, those around you that you be proficient in their use and knowledgeable in the law that governs their use. We want you to be as proficient with your chosen firearm as possible.
History shows that everything that can go wrong, will go wrong – and probably when you least expect it, at the worst possible time. Also, remember, no one knows it all, there will always be faster, better techniques to learn. Accepting these basic principals will lead you to the conclusion that it pays to listen, learn and plan ahead. Simply put … “Train for the worst, hope for the best”.
